My approach to coaching is Ontological, which means I work constructively with 3 essential domains of human existence. These are:
language,
emotions and the
body. My clients become more conscious of how their body posture and movement play a vital part in their way of being, along with the language they use (internally and with others), their emotions and the typical moods they live in. By taking a good look at our ‘structure’ in this way we can discover where possible shifts can be created to allow changes to take place for greatest effect. By creating and repeating new practices in body, language and mood, a sustainable change will result that enables more meaningful action to take place.
Part of my job is to stretch you and at times this may be uncomfortable as entering new territory can be difficult.
Often I might be gently irreverent and share with you what I see. If I just accept what you tell me without challenging you may remain just where you are.My aim is for you to make shifts and changes. Otherwise you will leave coaching the same way you came in and I won’t have served you well or done the job that I am here to do.
I want to see you living the best life you can, facing up to truths and taking responsibility for your thoughts, behaviours and actions, and being courageous when trying out new ways of being in order to create the life you want.
